Why vitamin B12 matters for daily energy
B12 helps turn food into energy, and many Indians, especially vegetarians, don't get enough. Here's what to know.

Feeling tired is common, and the reasons are many: short sleep, stress, skipped meals, too little movement. One reason is easy to miss, especially in India: not getting enough vitamin B12.
What B12 does
Vitamin B12 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, the process of turning the food you eat into energy your cells can use. It also contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells, the normal function of the nervous system and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Why vegetarians need to pay attention
B12 comes almost only from animal foods: meat, fish, eggs and dairy. Many Indians eat little or none of these, and studies in India have found low B12 levels to be common, especially among vegetarians. Milk, curd and paneer provide some, but often not enough on their own.
Low B12 builds up slowly, so it's easy not to notice. If you're often tired, a simple blood test can tell you where you stand. Talk to your doctor: very low levels need medical care, not just a supplement.
B12 works as part of a team
Energy metabolism depends on several nutrients working together. Folate works closely with B12, pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) helps the body use fats and carbohydrates, and vitamin C and zinc support normal immune function.
Amoras Energy Gummy is a daily multivitamin with 10 vitamins and minerals in one gummy, including vitamin B12, folate, pantothenic acid, vitamins A, C, D and E, zinc, iodine and magnesium. It has no caffeine, so it supports normal energy metabolism without a stimulant.
Simple habits for steadier energy
- Eat a protein-rich breakfast instead of skipping it.
- Include B12 foods you eat, such as milk, curd, paneer or eggs, every day.
- Drink enough water. Mild dehydration can feel like tiredness.
- Get daylight in the morning to support your body clock.
- Take your multivitamin with or after a meal, at the same time each day.
Energy Gummy suits kids and adults (children aged 2–5 only on a doctor's advice). Take one a day for at least three months.
